Sixth Form
We have a fantastic set of results this year and wish to congratulate all the Year 13 students who have now left us on their impressive success and hard work.
Over one hundred of you are off to a university of your choice to study subjects ranging from Mathematics and Physics to Law, Psychology, Sport and Engineering.  Many of the universities belong to the prestigious Russell Group and this is a testament to your talent and commitment.
Other students have succeeded in securing fiercely competitive apprenticeships, for example with Jaguar Land Rover and the NHS.
Our headline figures are as follows:-
A*-B 54% (20% improvement from 2013)
A Level Pass Rate 99% (3% improvement from 2013)
A* grades achieved in 11 subjects
A*-B grades in all their A Levels 20.3% students
BTec Merit or Distinction 98%
We look forward to welcoming back our Year 13 students to our Annual Certificate Presentation Evening on Friday 14 November and hope you will keep in touch by joining our Alumni and reading the regular updates we will be posting.
We also have our best ever GCSE results and are delighted to congratulate our Year 11 students for their exceptional achievement.
5 x GCSEs including English and Maths 74%
English GCSE 88%
Maths GCSE 82%
A*-A 24%
We are very pleased to have recruited to our Year 12 more than 170 students this year, studying over 30 courses with many of our own students who meet our entry requirements choosing to continue with us.  The funding that this generates ensures we maintain our small class sizes and personalised support.
