On Tuesday 5th November, 20 Windsor students made the journey to Oxford's Exeter College, for the Brilliant Club Launch day. Twelve year 10 students alongside eight Year 12s spent the day touring the historical grounds (see photographs below), having Q&A with current undergraduates, investigating student life at the university and experiencing their first tutorial with a university lecturer. 

Going forward, students are now beginning academic research into a specific topic building their bank of knowledge to develop skills that will eventually lead to writing a full university level essay. A number of seminars are organised to take place in school over the next couple of months giving students the opportunity to discuss topics and skills needed to move forward with their academic style writing.
