The evening of October 15th was spent celebrating the sporting achievements of Windsor students in competitive sport, dance and P.E. This is always a special time for students, parents and guests to come together and reflect on the successes of the past year.
Helping to recognise the commitment and achievement of almost 100 students from Year 7 through to Year 13, was guest of honour and speaker for the evening, Leon Baptiste; the Commonwealth gold medallist helped to present the awards before speaking to the audience about his career in athletics, with a particular focus on returning to the sport in the face of adversity. The audience were also treated to an impressive exhibition by Windsor’s talented dancers and gymnasts, many of which compete at local and national level.
