We were delighted to welcome over 175 students with their parents to our seventeenth awards ceremonies on Thursday 2nd July, which was spread over two events.  Both ceremonies were an opportunity to publically share and celebrate the success and hard work of students in years 7, 8, 9 and 10.  Certificates and awards were presented to students by our special guest.

The guest speaker this year was Anna Turney, double paralympian and world cup medallist and member of the GB Winter Paralympian skiing team.  Anna gave an inspirational talk about her will-power and determination to pursue her dreams despite a major setback in her life.  The audience were captivated by her story and comments from students, parents and staff were extremely positive and complimentary.

Both events were rounded off with refreshments in the Sixth Form Common Room and the chance to meet Anna personally.
